Recent Moments of Beauty

It’s been a while since I wrote anything so I wanted to share some recent projects, frames, people, and experiences of mine.

I had the pleasure of visiting my best friend in West Palm Beach, Florida, which meant an excellent opportunity to shoot many pictures and describe my surroundings in my visual language.

As someone who has never been on US soil, it was amazing to see that world with a fresh pair of glasses on, with every corner, car, shop, Walmart, and shadow on a wall being a new experience. I will write a separate entry about my trip to the US, so I will only go into the details a little.

Thankfully I found a Model to take some portraits in recognizable American environments and even parts of the ghettos of West Palm.

During my combined 15 hours of layover in Montreal and Frankfurt, I grabbed the opportunity to explore both cities to some extent and take many pictures of course.

It was interesting to see the cultural and architectural switch from the American to the European environment, with Montreal balancing both with a great mixture of Gothic buildings and giant skyscrapers.

Back on Hungarian soil, I had the pleasure to meet Johanna Szikszai during an agency test shoot, whose talent is instantly recognizable when in front of the camera. This series turned into one of my favorites so far, but there is more to come from our shoot at Lake Balaton as well.

Thanks to Panna, I had the amazing chance to shoot her performance in the Theatre, where she had one of the lead roles, including many BTS shots of the actors and extras in makeup, costume, and often very out-of-context scenarios, and the performance itself too.

My favorite shots have to be these, especially the portraits of Panna at the Eifel Tower and Barabás Botond on stage, with theatrical lighting accentuating the moment.

With each picture taken, I feel more and more the need to photograph as much as I can, while learning from my mistakes. Hopefully, this hunger won't go away, ever. I plan to expand my street photography this summer as much as I can, stretching my limits and trying a more “In-your-face” style.

Hope you enjoyed this tour of some recent work of mine, have an amazing day, and take some great pictures!
