Monochrome photographs carry a simplicity, which forces the viewer, to focus on the most basic elements of the frame, like tones, shadows, contrasts, and composition. Sometimes colors are even a distraction from these elements and would draw away the focus of the viewer from the key points of the image.

The art of photography is essentially capturing moments in the form of still images, with a camera. There are basically no other rules or boundaries. What if the model and photographer aren't even in the same room?

In this post, I want to share my “bad” images, which would never see the light of social media, or publicity to provide an insight into my mistakes and shine a light on a few similar to the vast majority which isn't shared. These images have all their mistakes, whether composition, overexposure or are just straight-up boring to look at.

Modern lenses are getting better and better, with their constantly evolving image stabilization, autofocus, and multi-lighting coatings. Without a doubt, these lenses are ideal for creating perfect and pristine images, with amazing sharpness, even when zoomed in multiple times. But is perfect always better?
